About the Role

We seek a dedicated Agri-Field Officer to provide on-ground farmer support, promote improved agricultural practices, and implement contract farming programs. The role involves village visits, farmer training, crop monitoring, and data collection to enhance productivity & advisory services, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular village visits to engage farmers and build relationships
    • Organize farmer meetings, training sessions, and field demonstrations
    • Guide farmers on scientific farming techniques and input usage (seeds, fertilizers, etc.)
    • Distribute and monitor Agri-inputs supply chain for contract farmers
    • Coordinate and provide real-time crop advisory with agronomist farmer registration and on boarding
    • Monitor crop growth, pests/diseases, and field conditions on our contracted farms
    • Identify farming challenges and escalate issues Conduct soil and irrigation assessments
    • Expand cultivated area and farmer base per targets Implement contract farming activities properly
    • Support Agri-commodity and collection as per quality/price standards Maintain farm visit records and crop data Submit daily/weekly via CRM/apps/Excel in timely manner
    • Collaborate with local Agri-input dealers, broker, and vendor and feed stocker
    • Share farmer feedback and field observations Activities identification and on boarding of vendor related to farming
